An app in Granada will allow you to pay for the taxi, bus, ORA and parking
The round of presentations for the European Mobility Week continues.
The latest innovation is the application and pioneer in Spain that allows you to pay for the urban bus, taxis, parking lots and the ORA area of Granada’s parking meters.
In this objective, the only thing missing is an agreement with the Junta de Andalucía to implement it with the Metro, a transport that has its route and a great influence in the capital despite the fact that it is managed by another administration that is not the Granada City Council.
The Granada City Council has launched the free mobile application ‘Imbric’, which allows you to reserve and pay for the bus ticket, taxi, parking and parking meters in the ORA area from your mobile phone, thus The city becomes the first in the country to have a tool that, according to the Councilor for Mobility, César Díaz, “integrates all mobility services.”
In addition, he stressed that the new application represents another step in the commitment to sustainable mobility:
“It will allow the user of the private vehicle to discover other more sustainable and economical ways to get around, while, thanks to the parking reservation service, it will reduce the concentration of vehicles in the city looking for parking by between 15 and 30%.”
The bus ticket can be purchased 40 minutes in advance in addition to announcing the arrival time of the vehicle. In the taxi you can have an estimate of the cost of the race.
The application is available on all IOS and Android phones.
