Syrian actor Mustafa Al-Khani announced happy news for those affected by the earthquake that struck his country last week, noting that the families who lost their homes in Hama have been secured for them.
Nems Bab al-Hara appeared, through a video clip he posted on his personal page via “Twitter”, while he was speaking from Hama Governorate, with the ruins behind him.
He announced the result of launching an initiative to secure housing for all those whose homes were damaged in the Syrian governorate, and wrote: “I would like to announce to you and give good tidings to you from here in Hama that all the families whose house (was destroyed) during the earthquake in Hama were provided with apartments as a rent for a year, and some of them today have signed Their contract, and God willing, within days, they will receive the apartments.”
Al-Khani also thanked everyone who helped him on the ground by securing homes, knowing the families and communicating with the concerned authorities, as this arduous and tiring matter was facilitated to become simple and smooth, as he put it.
The Syrian artist explained that his initiative was to help those whose house was completely destroyed, and he called on the families whose homes were asked by the competent authorities to evacuate for their own safety, to go to the “Al-Amal” association to be secured directly.
Likewise, the Syrian star apologized for meeting everyone’s requests, such as those whose homes were broken and others, because his initiative is individual – according to his description -.
Al-Khani had launched an initiative on his Facebook page, calling on all those whose homes were destroyed in Hama to write to him, so that their condition would be ascertained and they would be assisted.

It is noteworthy that the earthquake that struck Syria last Monday left thousands dead and wounded, as the death toll rose to 7,328, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
The director of the observatory, Rami Abdel Rahman, confirmed to Al Arabiya that many of the earthquake dead were buried without being registered in hospitals.
He stressed that there are many missing persons in the affected areas, whose fate is unknown.
In addition, he pointed out that the scale of the disaster in the regions in northern Syria is much greater than the available capabilities.
