The Graz fire department was called yesterday at 6:04 pm about a fire in the room in a flat on the 1st floor on Maria Pachleitner Straße. When they arrived, the emergency services were informed about the situation by a neighbor. He noticed the fire through a home smoke detector alarm and saw smoke coming out of the fire apartment window.
The professional fire brigade immediately applied a C-pipe under respiratory protection.
The fire in the living room was quickly extinguished. Security and ventilation measures were then carried out. The cause of the fire is the subject of police investigations.
The fire caused extensive damage to the apartment.
No one was hurt.
The fire department was at the scene with 5 vehicles and 23 emergency services.
