Of Dalida to Mike Brant Passing through Moustaki or Joe Dassin,Anna Them proposes these madeleines by Proust for the end of the year. This album will be released on November 25th and contains 12 titles by these artists who rocked the singer’s childhood or youth.
For this work, Anna Them collaborated with his live musicians and recorded most of the songs live to extend the retro concept of this album. The making of the album was led by Ilan Abou (ZAZ, Jane Birkin…) And the recording of the arches of Bruno Le Roux. The bows were recorded at Musical senna in collaboration with Riffx studio. The other instruments were recorded in the studio matter of sound.
The singer has chosen to unveil her version of We, for HervéVillardo, as the first extract from this work. A soft and tender cover, sung with sensitivity by Anna Silaoffering an exquisite new version of the song originally released in 1983.
