Two children were injured in a road accident on the road between the September villages of Boshulya and Karabunar. A signal for the incident was submitted last night around 20:20 in RU-Septemvri, BNT reported.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were immediately dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that a 71-year-old resident of the village of Slavovitsa was driving a Mercedes car on the road. At the same time, a group of several children was moving in the direction of traffic, near the banquet. The elderly man caught up with the group and hit two of the boys with the front of his car.
As a result, a 13-year-old child from Boshulya has multiple injuries and injuries to the limbs and body, was transported and placed in the Pazardzhik Hospital without danger to life.
The other boy turned out to be a 16-year-old teenager from Pazardzhik, who was examined by a medical team and released for home treatment. The scene was inspected by a duty group at RU-Septemvri.
The driver was licensed and did not drink alcohol. He was detained for a period of 24 hours in RU-Septemvri.
Pre-trial proceedings were instituted in the case under the supervision of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Pazardzhik, and procedural actions were being taken to clarify the factual situation surrounding the incident.
