Earlier today, Le Maskwa, a 100% vegetarian café in the Mascouche region, announced its closure in an Instagram post.

We can read there that several aspects led to this difficult decision, but that the owners mainly want to take time for themselves after having invested themselves body and soul in this adventure.
Since then, reactions have been pouring in to offer support and words of encouragement to the establishment.
The Maskwa will start by reducing its opening hours by closing on Mondays and Tuesdays, before officially closing at the end of May.
Until then, it will still be possible to savor coffee products at the Festival Grande Tribue de Mascouche. A goodbye party should also take place once the good weather has settled in order to end this adventure on a positive note.
After Flora Mtl and Antidote Bouffe Végane, this is the third vegetarian establishment to close its doors since the beginning of the year.
