2.4 million euros more

The city of Bad Nenndorf was supposed to take out a loan to cover a budget deficit of almost 700,000 euros. A record trade tax income now ensures that the bottom line is a black zero. The background is the successive payments of the early Corona years.
Bad Nenndorf. Thanks to the record income of the trade tax, the city of Bad Nenndorf will be able to do it without a cash advance in 2022. In fact, the budget contained a deficit of 690,000 euros from its own funds. Now there is the black zero, and a provision for appropriations of almost half a million euros can also be made.
The visibly satisfied treasurer, Frank Behrens, had estimated tax revenues of 4.1 million euros. This becomes € 6.5 million. A result that, according to Behrens, will probably no longer be achieved in the short term. The reason this time is the subsequent payments by the companies of the first two years of Corona. However, the city must therefore pay more surcharges to the district and the joint municipality. For budgetary reasons, this will also affect the coming year, hence the provision for appropriations.
