When should you be 300+?
The “Good start” benefit is granted once a year for a child studying at school until they reach the age of 20 (students of post-secondary and adult schools may also benefit). Children with learning disabilities will receive 300+ until the age of 24.
Can a student get 300+?
No. This support is not available to students in high school.
Can a bailiff take 300+?
No, the benefit is not enforceable. The bailiff cannot take these measures. However, in order to avoid misunderstandings, persons subject to bailiff enforcement should not take a 300+ benefit to a bank account. The form of payment must be agreed with the office to which we submit the application (e.g. postal order).
Who submits the application for 300+?
One of the parents. If they do not live together, the parent who looks after the child applies. Applications can be submitted from July 1 in electronic version, in paper version – from August 1. The deadline is November 30. Whoever exceeds it will not receive support.
Do you need to document what 300+ has been spent on?
No, parents do not have to collect receipts because officials do not check what the payment is for.
HOW TO FILL IN THE FORM?
The application consists of nine pages. But don’t worry – if you have one child, there are only three pages to fill. The more children, the more pages you need to complete.

1. Enter the name of the office to which you apply. It’s the same office that pays you 500+.
2. Enter his address. The system will tell you where your office is located.
3. Enter your data here: name, surname, PESEL number, date of birth and series of identity document, citizenship and marital status.
4. Enter your home address and be sure to have an email address.

From this page you enter the data of children for whom you apply for 300+. If you have one child, you complete page 2, if you have two, also the third, etc.
5. Enter the name and surname of the child who is to get 300+, as well as his PESEL number and date of birth.
6. You mark which class your child will attend in the 2020/2021 school year.
7. Enter the school your child will attend from September. You don’t know yet which outlet you will get to? It is with submitting the application that you wait until the end of recruitment.

Here you also enter the invoice to which 300+ is to be transferred. This account will receive money for all children.
HOW TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR 300+?
If you want to apply online, you can do it in two ways: via the government’s Emp @ tia portal (https://empatia.mpips.gov.pl/) or via electronic banking.
• Emp @ tia: to submit an application, you must have a trusted profile (if you do not have one, go to www.pz.gov.pl.). Once you get the profile, create an account on the Empatia portal and log in. Select the “Good start” application and complete it online. The system will tell you which office to submit your application to and indicate which fields are mandatory to complete. Then click “send” and the application will automatically go to your office.
