As mentioned on the union’s website, “Ilmārs Gorda was a professional with high competence and a deep understanding of road construction and design.”
He was an active and respected representative of the Latvian construction industry, a deputy chairman of the board of the Latvian Union of Construction Engineers, a civil engineer and a teacher.
