An accidental shot was fired from a service pistol belonging to the Bodø Police
Nordland Police report that what appears to be an accidental shot was fired this morning with a police service weapon.
The shot was fired at a car dealership in Bodø. The police officer who has the service pistol is employed at the Bodø Police Station.
The special police unit has been alerted.
No one was injured as a result of the accidental shooting. Police are on site to gather evidence, but further investigation will be left to the Bureau of Police Affairs.
Following the incident, the car dealership employees are being followed up by their employer and the police officer is being followed up by his employer
