University “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov” welcomed Dr. Milen Vrabevski within the framework of the “One Academic Hour” initiative.
The event, organized by the Department for Qualification and Professional Development of Pedagogical Specialists and the Student Council, attracted about 200 students, and more than 50 of them remained standing.
The topic of the lecture “Active in the present – The successful model of the Educational Complex ‘Tsar Simeon the Great'” caused unceasing interest among the attendees.
Dr. Vrabevski, known as an entrepreneur, businessman and philanthropist, shared his experience in education and how innovation can change the learning environment.
Dr. Vrabevski is a long-time executive director of “Comac Medical”, which is a leader in scientific research in South-Eastern Europe.
During the event, Rector Prof. Hristo Bozov and Assoc. Prof. Krasimira Dimitrova, Director of the Department, welcomed the students and emphasized the importance of such initiatives. Students actively asked questions, demonstrating their curiosity about the topics Dr. Vrabevski was discussing.
In addition, Dr. Vrabevski invited the students to gain experience at the “Tsar Simeon the Great” Educational Complex to see in practice how innovations in education are implemented.
As a sign of recognition for his participation in the initiative, Dr. Vrabevski received a certificate and a plaque with the “Alarm Clock” prize.
His contribution to education and culture, as well as his numerous awards, including the “Citizen’s Award” of the European Parliament and the “Alarm Clock of the Year” award, show the importance of his work.
The “One Academic Hour” event not only provided valuable knowledge to the students, but also inspired many of them to actively engage in future educational initiatives. Dr. Vrabevski left an unforgettable impression by emphasizing the importance of active participation in society and the importance of education for the future.
