– An 8-year-old boy who disappeared while swimming in a river in Indonesian Borneo was found in a crocodile boat.
According to Compass and others for the 5th day, an 8-year-old boy who disappeared while swimming the day before swimming in a river in Bengalo village in Muara, East Kalimantan, Borneo Island, was found dead in a crocodile boat.
The boy’s family testified that while fishing at the time of the accident, they saw an alligator biting the boy and entering the water. After receiving the report of the disappearance, the authorities mobilized a crocodile trainer to search the river.
On the 4th, the day after the disappearance, the search team found a crocodile 100m from the point where the child disappeared, and fired an anesthetic gun to stun it. Then he dragged the crocodile into the river and split the boat. In the broken stomach, an 8-year-old boy, who had disappeared the day before, was lying dead. The search team took the boy out and handed it over to his family. The crocodile was buried in the ground.
The search team leader explained, “The body found in the stomach of the crocodile was intact,” and “it is presumed that the crocodile swallowed it whole.”
On the island of Borneo, crocodiles often drag children as well as adults into the water. On January 14th, an 8-year-old boy was taken away by a crocodile while bathing in a river in a neighboring village and disappeared, but the body has not yet been found.
In March of last year, a 78-year-old man was also taken by a crocodile in the same village, and was found in a 4.5m long crocodile boat captured the next day.
In late July of last year, a 14-year-old boy disappeared while catching a snail by a river in a village in Sarawak, Malaysian Island of Borneo, and a part of his body was found in a crocodile boat caught five days after the disappearance.
