Battle to keep themselves alive they continue to give to ICU of Nicosia General Hospital, one 8 years old and one 20 year old motorcyclist, victims of traffic collisions that occurred in the previous days in Nicosia.
In one case, the 8-year-old who is hospitalized in critical condition intubatedwas injured in a road collision that occurred early last Tuesday on Metohiou Street.
The 8-year-old was riding in a vehicle driven by her 41-year-old mother and under circumstances that are being investigated collided with a car driven by a young person.
The mother is not seriously injured, while the minor continues to fight for her life.
Critical and 20 years old
In a second road collision on Monday, 20 year old foreigner on board motorcycle collided with a vehicle driven by a 54-year-old man on Makariou Avenue.
The 20-year-old underwent surgery and remains in critical condition. The 54-year-old driver of the car was subjected to a breathalyzer test with a negative result.
Nicosia Traffic continues to investigate both road collisions.
