With the help of a game where you can build almost anything, it took an American 2 months to create our universe.
18 year old Christopher Slayton is an avid fan of the Minecraft game, where you can build anything with the help of special blocks. But the boy proved that in this game you can create not only terrestrial objects, but also the entire known universe. To do this, he had to spend 2 months on the computer, but the results of the work are impressive, he writes Space.

Minecraft, which was released in 2009, is not a traditional space simulator, but with the help of special mods you can create a whole universe within it. As 18-year-old Christopher Slayton demonstrated.
“Just to create a black hole, it took me up to 8 hours. Only after two months of work, I realized why so many are just crazy about how beautiful and huge our Universe is,” says Slayton.
One of the problems the American faced when creating the universe was trying to recreate the dark and light sides of the planets in a game that doesn’t even have a light source. This process took him several days. But then there were problems with the recreation of the planets with rings. For example, to build Saturn correctly, he had to spend a whole day.
Technical difficulties arose for Slayton when creating larger galactic objects that needed to be recreated with mathematical precision. However, he managed to overcome everything and thanks to this it is possible to see many famous objects, including the famous structure in the Eagle Nebula called Pillars of Creation. With the help of the video created by Slayton, you can take a kind of journey through the galaxies.
Slayton has been playing Minecraft for nearly 10 years and in 2019 he started posting videos of his landscapes that he creates in the game on YouTube. This channel has been his top priority since he graduated from high school this spring. The American is still not thinking about college and is about to become a lifeguard. At the same time, he plans to expand his video content to attract as many subscribers as possible.
According to Slayton, the positive reaction of users to its creation prompted him to continue working on creating various ambitious projects.
“It’s great when you can organize a flight through space or see a black hole, not only in the movie” Interstellar “, – says Slayton.
Also Focus wrote that scientists created a detailed simulation of the universewhich shows its evolution from the Big Bang to the present day.
As for real, not virtual space, Japanese scientists have speculated that Earth-like planet to be found soon with oceans and continents, as I have already written Focus.
