Actress Amy Locane (48) made her breakthrough on the television screen in the mid-1980s, with roles in series such as “Spencer” and “Hothouse”.
And a while later, she got a role in it first season of “Melrose Place”, one of the most popular soap operas of the 1990s, in which she played Sandy Louise Harling. Several roles followed, but in the mid-2000s she retired from the acting profession and focused on family life.
She sat behind the wheel drunk. Drove on a car with a married couple in. And the woman in the other car lost her life. It has haunted her ever since.
The actress was sentenced to three years in prison after the accident, but allegedly refuses to admit that it was her fault that it went as wrong as it did. She has already been in prison, and many thought maybe the saga was over.
Well, on the other hand Fox News report that the actor has been sentenced to prison again for the fatal accident that occurred in 2010.
A summer day in late June 2010 began as usual for Locane at his home in Hopewell, New Jersey. She took a jog with her two young daughters in a double stroller.
Then she stopped by a party at a local theater nearby, before driving on to a barbecue with a friend. There she was with her then-husband, Mark Bovenizer, and their two children.
After drinking alcohol at the party, Locane was to drive home alone in his SUV. That was when she drove into Fred Seeman’s car, just as he was making a left turn to drive into his driveway.
Locane had almost three times the legal amount of alcohol in her body when she crashed into the car, causing the accident that took the life of Helene Seeman.

A judge now believes that the star still does not recognize her role in the fatal accident that took the life of 60-year-old Seeman and injured her husband.
– You made a conscious decision to drink that day, and continued to drink. You stated that you needed a ride, but did not get it. If you had not sat behind the wheel that night, this would never have happened, the judge in the case stated on Thursday afternoon Norwegian time.
Therefore, she has sentenced the star to eight years in prison. The state laws state that she must spend at least six of these years in prison before she can apply for parole.
Difficult case
The case has amazed the New Jersey judiciary for over ten years, and this is the fourth time she has been convicted in the case. The first two sentences were too short, several thought, and the case was therefore appealed further.
Last year, she was sentenced for the third time, to five years in prison. Even then, it was decided that the penalty was too low. It was emphasized that the star did not behave as remorsefully as she should, among other things.
The TV star was in prison for two and a half years before she was released for the first time. Now she has to go back. Her lawyer James Wronko is strongly opposed to the new verdict.
– It’s hair-raising. She has always taken full responsibility for this, he said, emphasizing that the star has put the bottle away for a long time.
She now has 45 days to appeal the verdict, if she does not accept the sentencing. It is not known whether the years she has already spent in prison will be deducted from the sentence. In court, she is said to have apologized to the Seeman family, before she was handcuffed.
After being released from prison for the first time in 2017, she has moved to Virginia, where she worked in a store.

The 48-year-old has stated that she has attended meetings for Alcoholics Anonymous, and that she has not touched a drop of alcohol since the accident. She herself has said that she has no one to blame but herself after the tragic event.
– If you look at and compare my unrest with the extent of what actually happened, there is probably no one out there who will feel sorry for me, the star said in 2017.
