The Head of the Appellate Prosecutor’s Office responded positively to the request of the family of 19-year-old Yiannis for a technical inspection at the fatal amusement park in Pefkohori.
In his statement, Yannis’ father emphasized that “Justice is working and whatever obstacle comes in will move forward very quickly with these remarkable people who represent it, in order to get justice for every child who has gone missing, including my boy, his our child”.
As ERT broadcasts, touching moments unfolded outside the Courthouse, as the brothers and friends of the 19-year-old were there early on, shouting over and over “John lives, you will be vindicated”.

Earlier, the father of the 19-year-old erupted upon arriving at the Thessaloniki courts, saying that the Prosecutor’s decision to cancel the roadworthiness test is a scandal and that an order must be given to carry out the roadworthiness test, while noting that he is here with his child’s photo and not his own child.
“I don’t know who the gentleman we’re looking for is, I don’t care. If what happened yesterday is not a scandal, in relation to the publicity of Kasselakis and the prime minister, it is the biggest debauchery of the place. They will find him, they will bring him today, this gentleman, whoever the Appellant is, to give the order for the company to enter. I don’t care what they do. I bring my child with a photo here. No one had the right to take it. Nobody!”, Giorgos Kaibalis said in a statement.
