Professor Angela Donvito, president of Amatb since August 2023, has placed her mandate in the hands of Mayor Vito Leccese. After the approval by the municipal council of the new guidelines for the appointment of the top management of the subsidiaries, Donvito felt it necessary to remit the mandate to allow the municipal administration to renew the top management of the company that manages local public transport.
The mayor has appointed sole director of Amtab SpA the lawyer Luca D’Amore, so as to allow the essential continuity in the management of the company. The appointment of the lawyer D’Amore, who also carries out the functions of judicial administrator, although limited to the time needed to complete the procedure for identifying the new management bodies, will allow the judicial body to strengthen its role also in management activities of the company.
