Amsyong! This Stock Even Dropped Up To 30% This Week

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) is seen to be bright and passionate this week, where this week is the first week of 2022.

Launching from Refinitiv so far this week, the national benchmark stock exchange index jumped 1.82% point-to-point. On Friday (7/1/2022) trading yesterday, the JCI closed up 0.72% to 6,701.32.

Even though it’s still about 0.8% away from the level all time high (ATH) which was inscribed in November 2021, but the JCI was able to end this week with a positive score, because on two trading days this week, Wednesday and Thursday, the JCI had reversed towards the red zone.

During the week, the value of JCI transactions reached Rp 66.4 trillion. Foreign investors are recorded to have taken net buying (net buy) almost Rp 3 trillion, or more precisely Rp 2.96 trillion in the regular market.

In the midst of the bright JCI this week, several stocks posted a sizeable correction and became top losers this week.

According to data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), of the six stocks that are top losers this week, the average decline is in the range of 30%.

The following is a list of stocks that have become top losers this week.

In the first position, there are shares of issuers producing wet wipes, non-woven fabrics, and other health products, namely PT Falmaco Nonwoven Industri Tbk (FLMC) which plunged 33.73% to a price level of Rp 338/unit, from last week’s price of Rp. 510/units.

It is not known why the stock listing on the stock exchange in June 2021 and then collapsed and became top losers first this week.

However, the IDX has included FLMC shares into special monitoring due to unusual stock movements or Unusual Market Activity (UMA) at the end of 2021 trading.

Next in the second position is the stock of logistics transportation issuers, namely PT Maming Six Sembilan Mineral Tbk (AKSI) which fell 29.38 percent to the level of Rp 625/unit this week, from the previous week at the level of Rp 885/unit.

Whereas about two weeks ago, AKSI’s shares had become top gainers a week, at which time the driving factor was the company’s plan to change the company name.

Like the FLMC stock, the reason for the AKSI stock is not yet known top losers second this week.

While from the row top losers On the other hand, there are two shares of MNC Group media issuers, namely PT MNC Sky Vision Tbk (MSKY) shares and PT MNC Vision Networks Tbk (IPTV) shares.

MSKY shares fell 29% to a price level of Rp 426/unit this week, from the previous week’s price of Rp 600/unit.

Meanwhile, IPTV shares fell 28.57% to Rp 120/unit this week, from last week’s Rp 168/unit.
