Concert organizer MOJO is confident that Pearl Jam will perform as planned in the Amsterdam Ziggo Dome on Sunday and Monday. The American rock band previously canceled the shows in Prague and Vienna due to vocal problems from frontman Eddie Vedder.
“We assume for the time being that the shows in Amsterdam will continue”, a spokesperson said to the newspaper ANP in response to the canceled concert in Prague on Friday. MOJO has been in contact with the group’s agent and management.

The singer of the group is said to have had a sore throat during a performance in France last weekend due to dust, heat and smoke from fires that were stoked. This made it uncertain whether the shows could be held in Amsterdam Get on. MOJO therefore expects it to be.

The 57-year-old Vedder has been treated for a few days, but has still not recovered. “You can rest assured that we are doing everything we can to resolve the situation,” the band wrote on Instagram on Thursday.
