AMSTERDAM – Weapons checks will be carried out on a trial basis in five Amsterdam neighborhoods in September. These are Bijlmer Center in Southeast, Burgwallen Nieuwe Zijde in the center, Geuzenveld in New West, the Dapperbuurt in East and the Waterlandpleinbuurt in North. Per district, a maximum of three checks will be carried out, the municipality reports on Thursday.
