Great pressure on Amstelveen healthcare

The number of corona infections in Amstelveen is falling again slightly, but the virus has not yet disappeared and the pressure on healthcare continues to be great. Amstelveen is still colored deep red on the map of the RIVM. What does this mean for healthcare in Amstelveen? People who work in healthcare and experience corona up close know this best. What do they see in the workplace, what do they encounter, what does this second wave mean for the rest of the care, what does it do to themselves? That’s what this special broadcast is about.

Mayor Tjapko Poppens says that he thinks it is important to hear stories from people in the care sector and to share them with other Amstelveners: ‘It is so close. These stories make us realize why it is so important to stick to the rules. Only together can we get the virus under control. ‘
