FAJAR.CO.ID, MAKASSAR – The pair of candidates for Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Makassar, Amri Rasyid and Rahman (AMAN), are carrying out a program targeting two main sectors, namely housewives (emak -emak) and the millennium. generation and Gen Z.
This was said by the AMAN Advocate in a podcast with Fajar.co.id, Friday afternoon (14/9/2024).
Amri Rasyid explained the importance of special attention to the younger generation. According to him, the millennial and Gen Z sectors are groups that often face difficult challenges, especially in terms of employment.
“This labor market is a sensitive issue for them. Their great energy must be directed, sometimes it appears in the form of illegal races or other negative things,” said Amri.
He also emphasized the importance of preparing the next generation through improving the quality of Human Resources (HR) of young people. “We will make room for them, preparing the baton of leadership for the next generation,” he said.
On the other hand, the housewife section is also the focus of this couple’s program. Amri sees that the strength of a nation starts from the family, and the role of mothers is very important in building the nation.
“Educating children, caring for husbands, and supporting family fulfillment are the main tasks of mothers. Therefore, the AMAN (Amri-Rahman) program will provide housewives with skills training so that they can more to contribute to the family economy,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Rahman said that apart from programs for mothers and the younger generation, they are also preparing fair public service policies.
