AMPI Monterrey obtains first national place in training and certifications

Monterrey, NL. The Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (LARGE) Monterrey obtained first place nationally in training y certificationsamong more than 102 sections in the country, because with the dynamism that the region presents due to nearshoring, certified advisors are required to give greater certainty to real estate operations.

The metropolitan area of Monterrey stands out for being one of the regions of the country with a high degree not only in real estate training, but also in international certification, with the endorsement of the Ministry of Public Education (SEP), highlighted Juan Manuel Escobedo, president of AMPI Monterrey.

“This is one of the national AMPI sections that receives the most training and has the largest number of certified real estate professionals,” said the leader.

A few days ago the national Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (AMPI) granted recognition to LARGE Monterrey as the number one section in training and international certifications for advisors.

“We obtained first place in training of all the sections that make up the national AMPI, there are 102 sections throughout the country, and even above Mexico City and the State of Mexico and Cancún, which are sections with a large membership and with every real estate license that these cities already have.”

“In Monterrey, a lot is invested in training and obtaining certifications to have all the knowledge required in a nearshoring environment,” Escobedo said.

There are 12 training and competency programs that AMPI has, in which advisors associated with AMPI must train and certify.

“At this time, when there is great dynamism due to nearshoring, this really places Monterrey and its metropolitan area as the region with the largest number of certified real estate professionals,” said Judith Ríos Arriola, Director of Training at AMPI Monterrey and advisor. .

The winning sections, in addition to the Monterrey section, in second place AMPI Mazatlán, La Paz, shared the third podium AMPI Cancún, Villahermosa, Tijuana, Reynosa and Matamoros.

Why are real estate professionals key in nearshoring?

One of the ways Nearshoring impacts the Mexican real estate market is through foreign direct investment (FDI). When foreign companies decide to establish their operations in Mexico, they require adequate facilities for their offices and operations centers, as well as industrial parks.

“Foreign investment not only increases demand for commercial properties, but can also raise quality standards and expectations in the real estate market. Companies often look for modern, well-equipped spaces, which can drive construction and renovation projects,” indicates Colliers’ study ‘The impact of nearshoring on real estate in Mexico.

Certified real estate professionals play a very important role in this, because they can guide expatriate and local employees to choose suitable places to live, as well as provide certainty to real estate operations.
