Al-Marsad Daily-SPA: The Riyadh Municipality has issued 10 warnings and instructions when it rains in the capital, in order to preserve the safety of residents and visitors from the risks deriving from rainwater.
The warnings included following weather conditions and warnings from official authorities about the rain situation, staying indoors when it rains heavily, and staying away from water collection points and electricity sources in public places.
The instructions also stipulated not to risk cutting rainwater and streams, to report rainwater puddles by calling the 940 City Center, and to make room for equipment and mechanisms to withdraw rainwater.
Warnings included staying away from tree sites to prevent them from falling over in storms and high winds, avoiding sitting near valley edges, and not leaving children alone at water catchment locations.
