At the time of the incident, there were no workers in the production line. There is only a team of mechanics on duty. but had to evacuate hundreds of workers living in the factory Most of them are Myanmar workers. Came out to the 3 Tambon Medical Center, which is located along Kanjanavanit Road, in order to escape from the ammonia leakage radius. and evacuated some villagers living near the factory for safety

Most recently, the Songkhla Provincial Security Office reported on March 27, 2023 at 9:30 p.m., that there was an ammonia leak. at the factory in Village No. 1, Tha Kham Subdistrict, Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, which is a factory producing and exporting frozen salmon. 9 employees were affected by inhalation. 5 were taken to Hat Yai Hospital and 4 to Songkhla Nakarin Hospital. All of them had vomiting, dizziness, and rapid heartbeat. They are now out of danger.

Hat Yai District, Tha Kham Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Songkhla Provincial Security Office, Volunteer Foundation evacuated 80 employees living in the factory area to Mae Toey Temple, Hat Yai District (1 kilometer from the factory). The rest of about 320 people live outside the factory so they are not affected. At present, the factory has completed the shutdown of the ammonia valve.
