Ammar Hamdi, the Al-Ahly club loaned to the Tala’i Al-Jaish team, revealed his refusal to sit down with Zamalek officials to enter negotiations before moving to the Red Fort.
In statements to the “Third Audience” program, Ammar Hamdi said: “Before moving to Al-Ahly, a Zamalek club official spoke to me and asked me to hold a negotiation session, but I refused.”
Ammar Hamdi added: “The official was Ayman Abdel Aziz, but I refused the session so that I would not be forced to sign for Zamalek, and I had promised Al-Nasr that I would not do such a behavior.”
And the Al-Ahly player continued: “When Al-Ahly club offered me to buy, I was happy because I was a Ahly fan since childhood, and I wanted to move to the Al-Ahly club.”
On his time with Al-Ahly, Ammar Hamdi said: “I felt a great interest and a difference in everything inside the Al-Ahly club, I did not follow any diet before, I was very skinny, but the Al-Ahly club assigned me a diet program, and I was subjecting to physical and muscle measurements daily.”
And Ammar added: “After three months of the food program in Al-Ahly club, I felt better, and I started participating with the junior team and shined and scored a lot of goals, and this transformation had a great impact on my period with the Alexandrian Union.”
Ammar Hamdi ended: “I used to play in Al-Nasr Club, so I was looking for participation with Al-Ahly Club after the end of the preparation period that the club had allocated for me, and I went out on loan for that.”
