President Andrés Manuel López Obrador confirmed that Ricardo Ahued resigned as general manager of customs in the Tax Administration Service (SAT), and recognized that his administration has not been able to end corruption in customs, so he announced a “clean”.

“He asked me that he wants to be in the Senate. Ricardo Ahued is a man of integrity, he is a good people, an honest man, he was a legislator in Veracruz at the time of the great corruption and as a legislator he voted against the approval of the public account of a governor and he is a respectable people, but wants to help in the Senate. He is a senator from the Republic, he won by majority, he is a good person, he is my dear, very dear, because he is a good person ”.

The president pointed out that due to this departure, “we are going to propose a change in customs,” and announced that this morning he will have a meeting with Ahued, a visit that will coincide with that of Ricardo Monreal, president of the Senate Political Coordination Board.
