In his morning conference at the National Palace, President López Obrador said he did not know if he had already received the formal invitation to the summit, since he said that he had not been notified by the Secretary of Foreign Relations.
He indicated that the relevant issue is the invitation to all the countries of the Americas, since he reiterated his position of not excluding anyone from the dialogue to resolve common problems.
“There is a very good disposition of the government of USA, at least it has acted in a respectful manner, there has not been a total, blunt rejection, and there are still days (to hold the Summit). I hope that this week we can already report so as not to be speculating or with conjecture, leaks. Better once we have all the elements, we go here to establish our position, ”he said.
