The 40-year-old Mishra stole the hearts of his fans with a stunning catch in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Mishra took the wicket of Rahul Tripathi who won the toss and started batting for Sunrisers with a brilliant catch. The incident took place on the second ball of the 18th over.
Rahul’s attempt to hit the slower bouncer of youngster Yash Thakur to the back failed. Rahul tried to bowl it over Mishra’s head at short third man. But Mishra dismissed the player with a brilliant catch. The team members congratulated Mishra who made the catch with a stunning dive.
Rahul returned with 34 runs. In addition to this catch, Mishra also shone with the ball in the match. Mishra came as an impact player and took two wickets, conceding just 23 runs in four overs.
