Passed by the Foire de Châlons in 2019, the singer Amir returns this weekend, to the Millesium of Épernay. Eight years ago, the French-Israeli singer-songwriter revealed himself with the show “The Voice”, reaching the final the year of Kendji Girac’s victory. Despite his third-place finish at the time, Amir was later successful. His participation, in 2016, in Eurovision, where he finished 6th, therefore the best placement of Italian representative in the last 15 years, allows him to expand his notoriety. Two weeks earlier, the release of the album “Au coeur de moi”, which includes the title representing France, “J’aicheré”, launched his career: it was certified triple platinum.
Known for his communicative energy, his velvety voice and his beautiful face, Amir therefore knows no false notes. His next two albums also gained recognition and his singles were bombarded by the airwaves and TV. His latest album “Resources” has been the subject of two reissues, one of which serves him to visit different eras and to return to his roots, supported by Dudu Tassa, Israeli pop star. Since last April he has even appeared in the stage show “Selected”, alone on stage in which he plays Alfred Nakache, a swimming champion who survived Auschwitz.
A scenic talent to (re)discover during this second tour of the zeniths of France, postponed for a year due to the health crisis. Tickets purchased for the original date will remain valid at the Millesium.
