Aminata together with singer Būū (Ilze Fārte) has released a summer single “Kur Saule”. Aminata’s fourth studio album is coming soon, and she will be seen and heard live on August 4 at a concert in the Andrejosta quarter.
The authors of the song “Kur Saule” are Ilze Fārte or Būū, Mikus Frišfelds, Rūdolfs Budze (DJ Rudd) and Kristaps Ērglis, but it was produced by Kristaps Ērglis and DJ Rudd. The video version of “Where the Sun” was created by Madara Dzintara Pluša. As a result, the result is more typical of DJ Rudd and Bouchi than Aminata, but in this case it is even good, because they complement each other – Buou’s perfect vocals fit Amouat’s dance rhythms.
“Where the Sun” is the first newsletter from my upcoming solo album “Wild Side”, which is expected in July. In this album, I wanted to experiment more and allow for a creative flow, so quite unexpectedly this song turned into a duet. Būū was one of the authors of the song from the beginning, but in the course of the work we realized that we also want to perform it together. I am very happy about this unexpected turn and cooperation, “Where the Sun” will be our personal summer anthem, and I hope that it will be the same for our listeners, “Aminata thinks.
