The film participates in the international competition, and its events take place on a night in the fall of 2013 during the curfew period in Egypt, about (Faten) who is released from prison after 20 years to find her daughter (Laila) unable to move beyond the past and pardon her, and she has nothing in her mind except that her mother She killed her father, in exchange for Faten’s complete refusal to reveal the cause of the crime, which puts the daughter in a conflict between her rejecting mother’s mind and her heart that gradually tends to her.
“Curfew” written and directed by Amir Ramses, starring artists Elham Shaheen, Amina Khalil, Ahmed Magdy, Arifa Abdel Rasoul and Mahmoud El-Leithy, with the participation of the Palestinian artist Kamel Al-Basha.
