The Mosellens will end their season on Friday June 2, 2023 (38e day) with the reception from Bastia to Saint-Symphorien.
Note that the start of this Ligue 2 version 2022-2023 is particularly busy with, in addition to the first day scheduled for the end of July, no less than five matches to be played in August. During this period, the people of Lorraine will travel to Caen (2e day), in Laval (4e j.), in Rodez (6e j.) and they will host Valenciennes (3e j.) as well as Dijon (5e j.).
At the beginning of September, the Messins will have two meetings in a row to honor at Saint-Symphorien against Annecy and Guingamp (7e et 8e days); conversely, they will travel twice in a row at the end of May (36e et 37e days) in Guingamp and Sochaux.

A Boxing Day in Saint-Symphorien
For the 15e day (weekend of November 12), the last before the international break imposed by the World Cup (November 21 – December 18), FC Metz will travel to Charlety to challenge Paris FC.
As for the programming of the famous French Boxing Day decreed by the LFP, it will allow Grenats supporters to go to Saint-Symphorien the day after Christmas to attend the match against Niort (16e daytime). The second match organized during the holidays will be played on the lawn of Grenoble on Friday December 30 (17e daytime).
As a reminder, the people of Lorraine have an appointment on Friday June 24 to carry out the traditional pre-season physical tests before resuming training the next day, Saturday June 25. Five preparation matches are on the program in July.
