Chairman of the Shura Council of the Ummat Party Amien Rais confided after the Ummat Party national work meeting (rakernas). Amien Rais told the story and satirized the general chairman of the Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto which is now difficult to contact.
Amien Rais told this after the National Working Meeting which was held at the Hajj Dormitory, East Jakarta, Wednesday (15/2/2023). He initially revealed that he had been trying to contact Prabowo Subianto for three months but had received no response.
“So it’s been 3 months that I contacted Pak Prabowo and he never picked up,” he told reporters.
Amien Rais said Prabowo Subianto always had reasons to be abroad. He said he was unable to contact them.
“Then when I was asked, I said I was abroad, I was going to Cambodia, I was going to the Netherlands, I had only been back for two days, I had gone to Australia, that was it,” he continued.
Amien conveyed this in the context of responding to Prabowo’s absence at an Ummat Party event. Meanwhile, Prabowo himself is one of the presidential candidates who meet the Ummat Party criteria.
Amien said the Ummat Party had invited Prabowo to the Ummat Party national meeting. However, Amien said, Prabowo never responded to his message.
“Please, I want to see Prabowo for 10 minutes only. So, seeing what happened yesterday, the concert is also possible, even 2 hours more, but to meet his close friend, that’s okay,” he said.
