Chairman of the Shura Council of the Ummat Party Amien Rais back to criticizing President Jokowi and Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan. He asked Luhut to resign.
“I want to make a recommendation for the Jokowi-Luhut regime, first of all Pak Luhut should resign immediately,” said Amien Rais at the Ummat Party’s 1 Year Anniversary event, which was broadcast live on the Ummat Party YouTube account, Sunday (17/4/2022).
Amien Rais claimed that some civil society no longer believed in Luhut. He then quoted Masinton Pasaribu who had criticized Luhut.
“Most of the civil society, I believe, no longer trust Pak Luhut, and Masinton Pasaribu, who knows better, said I was willing to be shot rather than withdraw my statement that Luhut was the culprit.
Therefore, Amien Rais asked Luhut resign. He considered that the sooner Luhut resigns, the better.
“So to Pak Luhut I said, please resign the sooner the betterso the sooner the better,” he said.
Amien Rais believes that Jokowi must be firm with Luhut. He said Luhut was not a national asset, but a national burden.
“Pak Luhut is reckless and already stuck with the narcissistic megalomania he has, Pak Jokowi should fire him. Luhut is no longer an asset to the nation, but has become a national burden,” said Amien Rais.
