Twenty years old, multi-instrumentalist singer, Luigi Strangis is the winner of Amici 2022, the talent of Maria De Filippi.

Radiant with the cup in hand, the artist triumphed after the final confrontation with the dancer Michele. Both had won their respective category awards by defeating Albe, Sissi and Alex for singing, and Serena for dancing. The critics’ prize awarded by the press went to Sissi, while the Tim Prize worth 30 thousand euros to Serena. To “Keep me tonight” by Luigi the radio prize to Alex the Oreo prize, from 20 thousand euros. But that’s not all: the Marlù Prize, worth 7 thousand euros in gold tokens, was awarded to each of the finalists. Both Luigi and Michele, as winners of the category prize, took home 50 thousand euros, but the winner got the final one of 150 thousand euros.

Born in Lamezia Terme where he lives with his parents and brother, Luigi Strangis started playing the guitar at the age of 6 thanks to his father who made him listen to American music.
Despite his young age, he has performed live numerous times. He also collaborates with a recording studio where he arranges songs for other artists. Ad Amici joined in September during the first episode of the talent show, performing with the unreleased «Vivo», produced by Brail.
He has published the pieces «Muro» and «Partirò Da Zero», both produced by Michele Canova; «Tondo» produced by Katoo; “Tienimi tonotte” produced by Luigi and Gabriele Cannarozzo (who won the Radio Award tonight).
