Duane Lee Chapman, better known under the name of “Dog the Bounty Hunter”, announced to be in turn in search of Brian Laundrie, who fled without giving any explanation on the last days of the young woman.
The famous bounty hunter has promised to catch the fugitive before his 24th birthday, which is before November 18. A law firm offered a bounty of $ 20,000, or nearly 17,000 euros, to anyone who gave information leading to the whereabouts of Brian Laundrie.
Duane Lee Chapman therefore began his research. He was seen near the home of the young man’s parents in Florida and reportedly told the New York Post that he had received more than 100 inquiries over his phone line. According to them, the young man would be along the Appalachians, a mountain range located in the eastern United States. “This is where the greatest number of reports come from”, the bounty hunter told the New York Post. “Gabrielle’s friend Rose Davis told me she was 100% sure of that thanks to her past. He was bragging that he had already camped there for months.”
For the bounty hunter, the American police are therefore on the wrong track by concentrating their searches in the Carlton reserve, located not far from his home. He explains that he does not believe the young man committed suicide, explaining that the fugitive does not appear to him to be a “violent type” in the video footage of the couple released during the investigation, including a video from the camera of the Utah Police Department where Petito is seen crying after police intervened in a marital dispute.
