FROM ONE EXTREME TO ANOTHER
As much as one lacked in grandeur and elevation, the other is giddy with its incessant references to the giants who built the United States and to the quasi-divine mission of his country.
Trump treated the state as a business whose one and only mission was to distribute generous dividends to its shareholders; Biden, like a temple to be worshiped.
