American winger Steven Green leaves C’Chartres BM

Dismissed from the N1 team of C’Chartres BM since the Coupe de France match in Limoges (101-62 defeat) on November 16, Steven Green has finally found a club.

The American winger, from Andrézieux (Loire) last summer and who will have played 11 matches in N1 this season, no longer fit into coach Sébastien Lambert’s plans for the sake of “collective balance”. Green (28 years old / 1.96 m) would have signed in Luxembourg, Basket Esch, Esch-sur-Alzette, led by the French Franck Meriguet, who was in charge of the selection of the Grand Duchy between 2013 and 2015.

Contract upgraded for Sencanski

This departure will benefit Dejan Sencanski (37) who was not part of the N1 group at the start of the season. Without a club, the Serb, who had fractured his hand in January 2021, had taken over a CCBM license to evolve in N3 but had found the flag team following the benching of Green.

“Dejan’s contract, who could not make all the trips for family reasons, will be upgraded and we will continue the season with him. As the team is doing well now (note: 2nd and remains on six successes in a row), it is not worth going to seek an additional foreigner ”, confided this Monday the manager of the club Milan Vasic.
