Dylan, now 80, was between 23 and 24 years old during the alleged abuse. A spokesperson for the singer tells The Guardian that the allegations are not true and that the singer will defend himself vigorously.
The woman brought her case before a New York court last Friday. It was the last day she could invoke a law that gives victims of child abuse the opportunity to file a civil lawsuit despite the statute of limitations. This law expired in New York on Saturday.
