American rapper Travis Scott was arrested this Friday morning in Paris following a fight, according to a police source in Le Parisien, confirming information from Current Values. The police intervened around 5 a.m. for acts of violence against a security guard, at the George V hotel, in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. The victim had intervened between the rapper and his bodyguard, the prosecutor’s office said in a statement mid-morning.
Drunk, Travis Scott was taken into custody and then sobered up until his condition allowed him to be questioned by the 1st DPJ (regional directorate of the judicial police).
The rapper had been seen earlier in the evening attending the Olympic semi-final between American and Serbian basketball players.
Travis Scott is not at his first arrest. In June, he was arrested in Miami (Florida, United States) for “public drunkenness” and “trespassing on property”.
The rapper rose to fame with his debut album, “Rodeo,” in 2015. Since then, he has become a figure in American rap and has released four more albums, including “Astroworld” (2018), which was a great success. Real name Jacques Bermon Webster II, the artist has two children with his ex-partner, American influencer Kylie Jenner.
