American rap superstar Lil Pump to perform in Riga’s Andrejosta quarter – his first visit to the Baltic states

On July 8, the American rap superstar – rapper Lil Pump – will take the stage in Riga’s Andrejosta quarter. This is the musician’s first visit to the Baltic states as part of a European tour.

Lil Pump is currently one of the most popular representatives of hip-hop – the hit “Gucci Gang” brought him fame and recognition. But in total, the musician’s singles have been listened to more than 4.3 (!) billion times on various online platforms. At the concert in Riga, Lil Pump will perform both his well-known compositions and his latest hits. It should be noted that American rappers will be warmed up by domestic rap stars roland če, Prusax, xantikvariāts and Steps.

“For many, Lil Pump has become an inspiration and proof that young people with behavioral and learning difficulties – Lil Pump has admitted that he has dyslexia – can achieve remarkable success. As a child, he had no interest in music, but that changed after he was expelled from school in Miami in the 9th grade for fighting with a student. Lil Pump’s ‘Broke My Wrist’, ‘D Rose’ and ‘Elementary’ quickly gained acclaim on online streaming sites. Also, the bright, sharp, protesting personality of the musician himself attracted huge attention of social media and young people – Lil Pump became an icon of the youth rap culture of this time,” the organizers of the concert draw such a picturesque story for us.
