It started with tonsillitis, but then things got dangerous: American-Korean actress Ashley Park (known from “Emily in Paris” and “Beef”) had to go to intensive care during her vacation in the Maldives in December.
She had suffered septic shock and needed urgent medical attention. Park posted photos on Instagram of herself and her new boyfriend, actor Paul Forman, from the hospital. She was in the intensive care unit for a week, she wrote on Instagram. The sepsis damaged some of her organs.
In total, she visited three foreign clinics in the holiday paradise and endured “countless scans and tests”. She now thanked the doctors and nurses as well as the translators who had supported her. She still has to recover. “But the worst is behind me now,” she reported.
The Instagram post also made it public that she is dating actor Paul Forman. He was by her side day and night. “I love you, Paul. More than I can say,” the 32-year-old wrote.
