An American, a follower of the conspiracy theorist movement Kew Anon, killed his two children, believing they had “snake DNA”, AFP reported.
U.S. authorities today charged Matthew Taylor Coleman, 40, with murder, who took his two-year-old son and ten-month-old daughter to Mexico, where he killed them with a harpoon, the California Attorney General’s Office said.
Coleman was arrested on August 9 on Mexico’s border with the United States. He admitted to committing the murders and said he killed his children so they wouldn’t turn into monsters.
Coleman, a supporter of the extremist Kyu Anon movement, which spreads conspiracy theories that there is an elite of Satanist pedophiles, has concluded that his wife has “snake DNA” that she passed on to their children. That’s why he killed his children to “save the world.”
U.S. police were able to locate Coleman using a tracking app on his phone after receiving a call on August 7 from the mother of the two children, whose bodies were found by Mexican police in Baja California near the U.S. border.
