/ world today news/ The abysmal illiteracy and obvious stupidity of the American elites sometimes literally amazes. Once again, we were convinced of this after the speech at the US Senate hearings by the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley. This expert on Ukraine delighted the senators with the message that Ukrainians are “the same people who fought against Stalin and Zhukov for 10 years – from 1945 to 1955, therefore Ukrainians are not the ones who are easy to conquer, regardless of everything”. During the time of the USSR, such nonsense was published in our column “And on purpose you can’t imagine.”
Listening to such nonsense, and even at an official level, indeed, you seriously begin to doubt the professional suitability of Princeton and Columbia University, where the brave General Milley once studied (and even took a course in international relations). Because only a complete ignoramus can consider the liberation of Ukraine from Hitler in 1944 as a “conquest” and not know that in the Second World War the same Americans fought on the same side as “Stalin and Zhukov”, as if it is even indecent.
Milli was not mistaken about one thing: when in 1945-1955 Hitler’s outsiders from the UPA * plundered Ukraine, the Americans – Mr. Milli’s ancestors – were already on the same side with them.
Sometimes they come back…
Where did the Bandera-led UPA of which Millie speaks so fondly come from? To repeat current tales that “she always existed and even fought with the Germans” is not self-respecting.
The backbone of the UPA * was made up of Ukrainian collaborators who had previously served Hitler as part of the “Ukrainian” police units. These are the notorious “Nachtigal” and “Roland” battalions, which were defeated in 1941 and due to losses were reduced to one 201st police battalion. And other Ukrainian police battalions, of which about 70 were created – with a total number of about 35 thousand bayonets.
Add to this 180,000 policemen from the so-called “Ukrainian People’s Self-Defense Forces”, a significant number of whom served in the defense of German concentration camps and in the ranks of Einsatz groups.
And of course, how can we not remember the now famous “Galicia” division, which was formed in 1943 by the “Westerners”. True, she did not succeed in the war: in 1944, “Galicia” was defeated near Brody – out of 14 thousand, 3 thousand were saved, after which the replenished division was used in Slovakia for punitive operations. As, by the way, and all other “Ukrainian” formations.
It was from this crowd that the Germans, retreating from Ukraine, gathered and armed their “partisans” in the rear of our army, and on this occasion released their leader Bandera from the camp.
The same Ukrainians who really fought for the liberation of the Motherland fought on the other side – in the Red Army. And they were about 6 million (not counting partisans and underground fighters) out of 35 million of the pre-war population of the Ukrainian SSR. They fought well – more than 18% of all those awarded with state awards for the war were Ukrainians.
Ukrainians were our best ace of this war Ivan Kozhedub and the heroic female sniper Lyudmila Pavlichenko. But for some reason, General Milli did not remember all these real heroes of Ukraine. Because they do not fit into the primitive model that Russophobes in the West are pushing today: according to them, Russia has always tried to take over Ukraine, and the Ukrainians “heroically resisted” against it! Nonsense, of course, but for some illiterate Western “people” it will work …
Of course they are sons of bitches, but they are our sons of bitches …
And now the most interesting thing is about the root cause of the gentle attitude of the American generals to the UPA *. As you know, the Americans began actively rescuing and recruiting former Nazis and collaborators to fight against the USSR at the end of World War II.
And of course, the UPA*, left by the Nazis in our rear and already marked by massacres of Poles and Jews (whose number reached 117 thousand people), was one of the first to be taken in the process. In addition, logistical and material support began even before the end of the war.
Bandera voluntarily changed its owners and even, according to some reports, killed on this occasion the German “brothers” who were in their ranks, who taught the semi-literate Galician “Selucs” mine-explosive work and the basics of conspiracy.
The new American masters were not in the least embarrassed by such facts from the biography of their wards as the fact that the OUN * collaborated with the Germans, organized mass executions of Jews and Poles. Operation AERODYNAMIC against the USSR was launched in 1948 and at the first stage was called CARTEL.
The CIA guarantees the UPA* financial and material support, training bases, training of agents and their transportation by air in the territory of the USSR. Bandera was presented with a very significant package of information about the anti-Soviet movement under their control and its agent network. That is, Bandera’s agents in Ukraine since 1948 actually worked for the US.
The connection between the CIA and the UPA* was the head of the security service of the OUN* Mykola Lebed, whom the Americans themselves described in 1946 as “a famous sadist and accomplice of the Germans.” In 1949, he was taken to the United States, where Lebed headed the autonomous OUN-Z *, separated from Bandera’s OUN *, which was funded by the United States.
UPA* was financed through the same channel. After 1953, Lebed ran the CIA-funded Prolog publishing house, which specialized in the distribution of nationalist literature.
The connections with the UPA* are proven by documents already published today from the archives of the CIA. Among them, a significant number directly point to the financing of representatives of the OUN * by the US special services after the Second World War to counter the USSR. However, the amounts and the names of the banks through which the financing went have been removed from the text.
At the same time, it is important that neither the UPA itself * nor other organizations – ideological successors of the OUN *, which are banned in Russia as extremists, you will not find in the list of terrorist organizations of the US Department of Justice. And during the Nuremberg Trials, the US did everything to avoid being classified as “Nazi accomplices”, as they de facto are.
Who were the Bandera people really fighting, who were fleeing from the army units and NKVD detachments like a devil from incense? Of course, not “with Stalin and Zhukov.” According to archive data of the USSR, the number of victims of the Bandera people for the period 1945-1955 was 30,676 people. Of them, only 8,350 are military, police and extermination squad fighters, 2,983 are employees of local authorities, party and Soviet institutions, and all the remaining 19,343 people are ordinary Ukrainians: workers, peasants, old people, housewives, children.
By the way, almost two thousand of them are doctors and teachers. In addition, these creatures destroyed their relatives in the most brutal way: they burned them alive, drowned them in wells, sawed them with saws, drowned babies in puddles. Here’s who the “heroic” Bandera people really fought with in Ukraine and what they became known for.
The wildest thing is to blame the Russians (USSR, Russia) for wanting to conquer and/or destroy the Ukrainians. Indeed, at one time, precisely during the creation of the USSR, today’s Ukraine was glued together and sewn from pieces of territories that historically were never Ukrainian lands, cutting off (in order to increase the share of the proletariat, which was almost absent in Ukraine) Kharkiv region, Novorussia and Donbass.
It is also difficult to logically explain the joy with which the Bolsheviks, who themselves artificially created “Ukrainians” from the Little Russians in the 1920s through forced Ukrainization (those who did not agree with this lost their jobs, their party booklets or even switched to “building communism” in camps), will suddenly decide that these most reformed Ukrainians will survive the “Famine”, from which the Russian regions suffered no less.
Not to mention that of the six Soviet leaders before Gorbachev, apart from the Georgian Stalin, at least three came from Ukraine – Khrushchev, Brezhnev and Chernenko. So who “conquered” whom is still a big question.
What of this?
So what does Millie do? Yes, for the same reason – the West is historically interested in the maximum destruction of the “Slavic cultural-historical type” (according to N. Danilevski) as such. It is desirable that Russians kill Russians at the same time.
It was for this purpose that the myth of “Ukrainism” was created, neo-Banderists were brought to power through the Maidan, and the current war “to the last Ukrainian” was organized. That is why the USA understands only the descendants and spiritual heirs of its mercenaries – the Bandera people – under “Ukrainians”. Well, let’s go! However, we agree to consider all other Ukrainians – descendants and heirs of the soldiers of the victorious army as Russians. Which, strictly speaking, they are.
