At least three more new seasons will be added to the series American Horror Story made. The Hollywood Reporter reports that broadcaster FX has confirmed this during the Television Critics Association.
The news means that at least thirteen seasons of the series will be made. Nine have since appeared, of which 1984 the last one was. A tenth season had already been announced and is currently in the making.
American Horror Story is a series made by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, in which a new story with different characters is presented in every season. Often the same actors return. Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters, for example, played in the majority of the seasons and Jessica Lange, Emma Roberts and Cheyenne Jackson were also seen on several occasions.
American Horror Story was shown for the first time in 2011. Since then, the series has been nominated 95 times for an Emmy, sixteen of which have been cashed.
