dThe Pittsburgh Steelers recorded a 13:10 home win against the Las Vegas Raiders in the NFL football league in minus 13 degrees on Saturday. The Steelers have dedicated the success to their former star Franco Harris, who died Wednesday at the age of 72.

The Tennessee Titans’ game against the Houston Texans started an hour late due to power problems. Due to the extreme temperatures down to minus 20 degrees, there were repeated power outages. The Titans lost 14:19.

The New Orleans Saints also won in the arctic cold 17:10 against the Clevelands Browns, who missed the playoffs. The Baltimore Ravens secured their postseason berth after a one-year hiatus with a 17-9 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. They benefited from a loss to the New York Jets on Thursday and a 6:22 p.m. loss by the New England Patriots to the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday.

The Detroit Lions lost 23:37 to the Carolina Panthers and suffered a setback in the battle for the playoffs. The Panthers are still in contention for the coveted postseason berths. The Buffalo Bills beat the Chicago Bears 35-13 to secure their third straight AFC East division title. The Bears have no more playoff chances.

Star quarterback Patrick Mahomes led the Kansas City Chiefs to a 24-10 uncontested victory over the Seattle Seahawks with two touchdown passes. So far Buffalo, Kansas, Cincinnati and Baltimore have qualified for the postseason in the AFC. In the NFC, they are Philadelphia, Minnesota, San Francisco and Dallas.
