American Football – St. Brown’s Pre-Pro Bowl Ambition: ‘I Want More’ – Sport

Las Vegas (AP) – The ambitious football professional Amon-Ra St. Brown is not completely satisfied despite his first participation in the NFL Pro Bowl.

“I’m happy, but I wanted to do it directly. I didn’t want to be a substitute. That counts now too, but I want more,” said the 23-year-old passport recipient from the Detroit Lions of the German Press Agency before his trip to Vegas. St. Brown was back-nominated for the National Football Game All-Star Event because AJ Brown entered the Super Bowl with the Philadelphia Eagles and is not participating.

The German-American St. Brown played a strong season, was the top receiver for the Lions and scored six touchdowns. He narrowly missed the playoffs with Detroit. St. Brown can make friends with the fact that there will be a flag football game for the first time this year instead of the usual normal variant. “When I used to watch it as a kid, nobody really blocked because at the end of a long season nobody wanted to get hurt,” he said. The last time he played flag football was when he was six or seven years old, but other forms of training are similar.

Basically, St. Brown is looking forward to his time in Las Vegas. “My family, my girlfriend’s family, my friends – they all come. I’m happy to celebrate with them and meet other good players. They are simply the best players in the league and you can chat and hang out with everyone,” said he.
