American Football:Los Angeles Rams sign quarterback Baker Mayfield

Los Angeles (AP) – The Los Angeles Rams have signed quarterback Baker Mayfield, last season’s Super Bowl winner said in a tweet.
Mayfield could make his Rams debut as early as December 8 against the Las Vegas Raiders with Stuttgart’s Jakob Johnson. Regular quarterback Matthew Stafford will be injured for several weeks and possibly until the end of the season. Mayfield was previously released by the Carolina Panthers, where he failed to make an appearance this season.
In 2018, Mayfield was selected first in the NFL draft by the Cleveland Browns, but he was increasingly criticized there. In the summer, the Browns finally signed the controversial Deshaun Watson, Mayfield went to the Panthers. The Rams are bottom in the NFC West with just three wins in 12 games and have lost hope of making the playoffs this season.
