The head of American diplomacy assured on Tuesday that it was still possible to put an end to the coup d’etat in Niger via diplomacy, while several West African countries are increasing their pressure on Niamey.
“We remain focused on the diplomatic channel to achieve the results we want, namely the return to constitutional order, and I believe that there continues to be scope to achieve this result through diplomacy“, Antony Blinken told the press.
